Christmas 2022 Guide to finding Santa in Saskatchewan

Grey Cup in Regina is over (what a blast that was!) and now us prairie dwellers can turn our attention to the pending holidays. My little one isn’t so little anymore but when she was visiting the mall Santa’s for a photo opp was part of our annual traditions.

Even though getting out and tracking down Santa isn’t on our list anymore I thought I would take the opportunity to make it a little easier for those of you that do. I will do my best to update this page to keep it current but if you know of a Santa appearance that I’ve missed please drop me a line or send me a tweet to let me know?

Santa in Regina

Southland Mall

Santa will be available from November 26th to December 23rd at the following days and times:

• Wednesdays and Fridays – 11:00 am to 2:00 pm AND 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Saturdays – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm AND 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Sundays – 11:30 am – 2:00 pm AND 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

When you visit Santa at the Southland you will receive one free professional photo! Print packages are also available for purchase.

The Southland is also keeping up it’s traditional of recruiting “The Mean One” for pictures! You can find him on the following days and times during the month of December:

• Thursdays at 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm AND 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Victoria Square Mall

Santa will be appearing at the Victoria Square Mall from November 28th to December 23rd. I’m a little unclear as to specific times, it looks like he makes his appearances beginning at 11:00 am but I’m not sure if he’s there all day. You can check out their website for picturing pricing and perhaps they will update with some clarification.

The Victoria Square Mall also will be having a Snow Princess on site for photo opportunities on the following dates and times:

• November 21-23 – 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm
• November 24-25 – 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
• November 26 – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• November 27 – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Centennial Market
Santa will be at the market at the following dates and times:

• December 3 – 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
• December 10 – 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
• December 17 – 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Northgate Mall

Stop by the Northgate Mall between November 28th and December 23th to catch Santa.

• Mondays and Tuesdays – 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Wednesdays to Fridays – 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Saturdays – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Sundays – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

You can also catch the Grinch at the Northgate from November 21 to 26.

• Monday, Wednesday and Saturday – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Thursday and Friday – 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

For an extra special treat the Northgate Mall is providing you with an opportunity to get your picture taken in the Santa court, with proceeds going to the Regina Humane Society

Cornwall Centre

The Cornwall Centre will welcome Santa beginning November 25th at the following days and times:

• Monday to Friday – 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm AND 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Saturday – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm AND 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Sunday – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm AND 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

The Cornwall also holds a couple of Sensory Santa days for those little ones that do better in a more chill environment. You can come visit for that event on the following dates and times:

• December 3rd and 10th – 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shop

Cabela’s and Bass pro Shop always hosts some super cool events for kids all year long. This year each store across Canada will be hosting at Santa’s Wonderland! You can receive a free 4×5 photo and a shareable video. You can also bring in your letters to Santa and they will make it get to the North Pole!

Photo’s with Santa start November 13th and reservations are recommended.

Saskatoon

Midtown Mall

Santa will be in Saskatoon at the Midtown Mall from November 29th to December 24th on the following days and times:

• Tuesdays to Saturdays – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm AND 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Sundays – 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• December 24th – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

To make things a little more convenient you can book your photos ahead of time here!

Lawson Heights Mall

Stop by Lawson Heights from November 26th to December 23rd at the following days and times:

• November 26 & 27 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Mondays – Saturdays – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm AND 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Sundays – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Walk ins to visit Santa for a photo are welcome but you can also book your slot here.

The Centre Mall

Santa arrives at The Centre on November 24th and is around until December 23rd at the following days and times”

• Monday to Friday – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm AND 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• *Saturday November 26th – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm AND 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Saturdays – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm AND 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm AND 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Sunday – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Market Mall typically has a Santa for the holidays. They haven’t yet shared the details but I will update when they are available.

Prince Albert

Gateway Mall

Santa will be in Prince Albert at the Gateway Mall from November 26th – December 23rd

North Battleford

If you are in or around North Battleford you can see Santa at the Frontier Centre from December 13th to 23rd. I don’t have times for you yet, and I understand you will also be able to book a spot for photos but that isn’t available yet. I will update with more information as it becomes available.

Swift Current

Santa will make his stop at the Swift Current Mall from December 2 – 19th at the following dates and times:

• December 2 – 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• December 3 – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• December 8 – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• December 10 and 11 – 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
• December 15 – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• December 17 and 18 – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• December 19 to 23 – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
